CONTEXT gives Foxtons luxury magazine its rare style

When Foxtons launched Rare, a luxury coffee table magazine dedicated to their most exclusive properties in London, CONTEXT wrote the magazine’s content with distinctive flair, interviewing owners in their exceptional abodes.

Luxury with a voice

Rare wasn’t just about square footage or postcode prestige — it was about storytelling. CONTEXT was brought in to deliver sharp, elegant journalism that could sit comfortably among high fashion, design, and lifestyle titles. The brief was to write with style, insight and a modern edge, while reflecting the sophistication of the homes featured.

Same values, different language

Each article required more than a description — it needed a point of view. CONTEXT handled all interviews and editorial features, drawing out the stories behind each home and the people who lived in them. The tone was confident, evocative, and informed, balancing authority with a conversational ease. From maisonettes in Marylebone to penthouses in Pimlico every piece felt luxurious — but never aloof.

What value did we bring?

We gave Rare an elevated voice — rich, stylish, and unmistakably upmarket. The writing reflected the unique style of the homes revealed but also framed Foxtons as more than an agent: but as a tastemaker and trusted authority in London luxury. CONTEXT’s journalism brought depth, character and elegance to each page — and ensured Rare lived up to its name.
